The winner of Philly Drag Wars, hosted by RuPaul’s Drag Race’s Mimi Imfurst, Pissi Myles, was crowned 12 September after beating out 14 other contestants.
After winning, Pissi said, “It’s a tremendous honour to have been crowned Philly’s next drag superstar.
“After a very rewarding couple of months, I’m glad to have so many new friends and opportunities, and a very large box of Oreos.”
Pissi teamed up with a Philly producer, Josh Schonewolf, in a show of her own – Lipschtick: A Variety Hour – which debuted on 11 October to a sold-out crowd. The show continues to sell out every month.
The show combines song, dance, comedy and other “zany antics” for what is sure to be a night of hilarity and debauchery.
The queen also has a special Christmas themed show coming up – Merry Pissmas – and a Happy New Queer – tonight, 11 December, at Tavern on Camac.
She will also appear with the legendary Sherry Vine in A Very Sherry Christmas on Boxing Day.
